Pat Quinn played for the Atlanta Flames. Atanta Flames at Wikipedia Cleveland Barons Originally the California Golden Seals the franchise moved from Oakland to Cleveland in 1976 due to failed attempts to get a new arena in San Francisco. Even in Cleveland with terrible attendance and financial troubles the team ended up merging with another team in the same boat in 1978 the then Minnesota North Stars. The Barons still to this date is the last tem in all 4 major sports leagues to cease operations.
Colorado Rockies The Colorado Rockies use to be the Kansas City scouts and then in 1982 became who are now the New Jersey Devils.

Up until 1979 they were known as the New England Whalers and played in the now defunct World Hockey Association. Such notables as Paul Coffey, Gordie Howe, Ron Francis, and Bobby Hull played for the Whalers.
